Last year Alize Cornet became the youngest ever winner of the WTA tournament in Budapest and tomorrow she starts her title defence. 2nd seeded French player plays the first match of center court where she faces Galina Voskoboeva from Kazahstan. They will be followed by the Hungarian derby, Agnes Szavay vs Katalin Marosi not before 2.45 pm and after the two Hungarian National player's battle, comes another Hungarian National player, Greta Arn against Romanian Ioana Raluca Olaru. The winner of the tournament in 2000, Tathiana Garbin plays the 3rd match on court 4 following Anna Lapushchenkova vs Mariya Koryttseva and qualifier Lenka Jurikova vs Kateryna Bondarenko. 5th seeded Alisa Kleybanova begins the day on court 5 against Monica Niculescu followed by 8th seeded Lucie Safarova against Petra Martic and qualifier Irina Begu vs Shahar Peer. 3rd seed, Sybille Bammer is facing Klara Zakopalova and the match starting at 11.00 on court 6 will be their first ever match between the two highly experienced players. The Austrian and the Czech will be followed by Sara Errani against Timea Bacsinszky and the last match on this court will be Patricia Mayr vs Margalita Chakhnashvili. |
