Gréta Arn takes revenge on Benesova for Roland Garros defeat

It's been a great relief for me to have been able to take revenge for my defeat at the Roland Garros this year'-said Hungary's Gréta Arn after her 6-4, 6-4 first round win over No. 4 seed Iveta Benesova of the Czech Republic Tuesday afternoon.

'I had a fantastic support from the Hungarian audience, it was good to play in front of so many of them. It helped a lot that I played bravely, doing things we had prepared with my coach, having learned a lot from the match in Paris. Benesova likes to play fast, she's got good hands, good footwork, she sees things well, so I had to slow her game down. I managed to do that and thus, I made her commit mistakes.'

In the second round, Gréta's opponent will be Zuzana Kucova of Slovakia who began in the qualifiers and beat Tímea Bacsinszky of Switzerland in the first round. 'I know I'm the favourite in that match but my opponent did not qualify for the second round by accident, either'- said Gréta, who from this year on competes for Hungary.
