Klepac on the main draw again

Andreja Klepac, Zuzana Ondraskova, Michaela Pochabova and Lesya Tsurenko qualified herself for the main draw of GDF SUEZ Grand Prix.

Today's programme started with the qualifying finals of which the highlight was the match of Andreja Klepac and Tamira Paszek, two former TOP100 players.

Paszek and the 2008 semifinalist Klepac had a tough opening set won by the Austrian but Klepac knew how to come back and started to make less unforced errors and finally won by 57 62 61 and faces compatriot 8th seeded Hercog in the first round tomorrow.

Slovakian Michaela Pochabova had an easy win over compatriot Tvarkovska who was looking for her first main draw appearance of the year, while Zuzana Ondraskova defeated Liana Ungur 61 64 and Lesya Tsurenko qualified herself first time this year to a Tour main draw with a 06 63 64 victory over 1st seeded Russian Anastasia Pivovarova but will have a hard time against Patty Schnyder in the first round.

Did you know that Pochabova's victory was the first 60 60 in the quali finals in tournament's history?
